“Back to school” fever is in full force… and its “symptoms” can present in positive ways for divers! This is a great time to consider some continuing education courses: nitrox, drysuit diving, peak performance buoyancy – honing your skills as a diver helps you conserve air and be more comfortable in the water. If you’ve never taken an advanced class, it’s a great way to work on specific skills and enjoy local shore dives and boat dives. Check our website or give us a call to get the details.
This is also a great time of year to dive Monterey. The conservation efforts of many are really making a difference! There have been some massive anchovy bait balls spotted near some of our favorite dive sites, and that has contributed to all kinds of increased sea lion and whale activity. Back to school(s) indeed!
With many families back in the swing of the school year schedule, the crowds tend to thin a bit, making traffic and parking less congested. If you can manage a mid-week dive, even better!
Don’t miss out – let’s go diving!
