The 3rd annual Treasure Dive took place at Breakwater on Sunday, July 21 and conditions were perfect. 28 divers participated in the dives, 4 volunteers from the Pacific Grove Hyperbaric Chamber were in attendance to answer questions about the chamber and to support the event, lots of friends and family members attended the topside festivities to celebrate Correy Fedor’s 26th birthday, there was lots of delicious food and cake, and all in all the day was a big success!
Three of the underwater treasures were found, and all 14 of the topside treasures were found thanks to Joe Fedor’s very creative clues. Thanks to amazingly generous donors, we raised $7,645 for the Pacific Grove Hyperbaric Chamber plus $875 in Chamber t-shirt and sweatshirt sales on site!
A very generous donor, who requested to remain anonymous, won the drawing for the Scubapro 50th anniversary edition MK25/S600 regulator – so statistics did play a role as he had the most tickets in the box. Willa, from the Chamber, pulled the winning raffle ticket. Thank you to everyone who donated – we are ALL winners because of your generosity!
